PUNK IS TWEE
CUPBOARD MAGAZINE: ISSUE 3

$80.00

Cupboard
192 pages, soft cover

I came across Cupboard Magazine by way of the incredible pictures by contributor Shelley Fox, images of her clothing archive that a mouse and a flood had got into and transformed, unravelling and swelling these textiles. The interface of clothes and the world, when these two meet is at the heart of Cupboard I think, edited/created by designer Chloe Haggar, who is based in Australia. I am so interested in the clothing that people actually wear, and this is full of that, in the park or in Paris, or why someone doesn’t like wearing navy (reminded me of my dear friend Igor who refused to wear the colour blue). There are also a series of great interviews in this issue, formatted like a crossword so the questions are like clues to expand and respond to yourself as well. Feel honoured to stock this one.
